You can run System 7, System 7.5, System 7.6.1, and other old school Macintosh system software releases this way. Once you launch Mini vMac and have the ROM with OS available to it, you’ll stop seeing the little blinking disk icon (remember that?) and you’ll boot into Macintosh System software 7! copyroms-1.1.0-sit.zip ( info ) The same contents, repackaged as zipped Stuffit archive. The disk image can be mounted with Mini vMac. Basically you’ll need to download the Mini vMac app, and then using a Mac ROM (vMac.ROM) you can run or install old fashioned System software.
